[sponsored] ORLY flash glam FX polishes

Good evening everyone,

last week I told you about a little package I’ve received from ORLY Germany.

Not only did they send the ORLY nail rescue kit, but also three pretty glitter polishes that are perfect for Halloween. Sadly these came a bit too late to show them during my #ScaryweenChallenge, but who the heck cares?

I think you can still wear scary Halloween nails even after Halloween.

So that’s what I wanted to show your today.

What did I get?

I received three polishes from their flash glam FX collection, which came out around June 2012 within the USA and it contains of 22 glitter polishes in either clear or colored base.

I already own a few of these, like Sunglasses at nightUltraviolet and Pink your world. The glitters are always super pretty and exciting. I always get distracted by them when I am at work haha

You can still shop the collection HERE (Germany)

Like I said, I received three polishes, R.I.P.Monster Mash and Right Amount Of Evil (left to right).

I mean come on, those names scream Halloween!

R.I.P. is an orang glitter polish (different sized glitters) in a sheer black jelly base. I am not sure if I would wear it any other way but with a black base, but nonetheless it is very spooky and pretty.

Monster Mash is a bright green glitter polish (different sized glitters) in a sheer green jelly base. I love green, so this one hit the jackpot with me, since I don’t have a similar polish so far.

Also, the name instantly reminded me of the song monster mash, which Craig Ferguson lip synced to at the Late Late show with Craig Ferguson. If you don’t know him, please check him out. I love him!

Right Amount Of Evil has silver glitters in a sheer orange jelly base. I think it looks pretty nice over an orange base or also black base.

I used R.I.P. and Right Amount Of Evil to creat the following nail design. I used a black base on all my nail except the ring finger and added R.I.P. on top. On my ring finger I used an orange polish as base and Right Amount Of Evil on top. After everything was dry I took my new stamping plate halloween 02 from UberChic, which I bought at Hypnotic Polish. I choose to use the swirls and pumpkin design for all of my nails but the ring finger. There I used the mixed design with the saying “trick or treat”.

For the next design I used ORLY’s Viridian vinyl as a base for all fingers accept the ring finger and put Monster Mash on top. On the ring finger I used Mint Mojito as a base and acrylic paint for Frankensteins details.

Since I also own a few more polishes that match the Halloween theme, I decided to create some more designs.

Here I used What’s the password as a base on most of my nails and stamped over it with a black polish. On the ring finger I reversed it and used black as a base and stamped with What’s the password.

For the last design I sponged Ultraviolet on my ring finger and stamped “Something wicked this way comes” on top. On my other nails I applied Close your eyes and stamped little wicked witch feet on top with ORLY’s Harmonious mess.

I am pretty happy with the designs. I think the wicked witch design is my favorite :)

Which do you like best?
