a merry Ciaté Christmas 2017 – what’s new | all the small stuff and things

Good evening everyone,

Halloween has just passed and I am again fully in the christmas mood. Every year I am looking forward to the special christmas products that Ciaté London will come out with.

Within the past years Ciaté sold some really special things, like their Treet Trinkets, the Candy Cane House or their Advent Calendar Mini Mani Month (I own 2012 |2013 | 2014 |2015 |2016 |2017).

Let’s see what they have to offer this year!

First up, of course, is the Mini Mani Month Advent calendar. (£50.00)

This years calender style is the same as in 2016, the polishes come in little boxes and are kind of build into the packaging like a puzzle.

We have a total of 22 mini polishes and 1 full sized bottle, as well as a glittery nail file. The shades are as followed:

Top coat, After Party, Moonlit Whispers, Part-Time Mermaid, Locket, House of Mirrors, Beach Please!, Mostly A Minx, Champagne Kisses, The Naked Truth, Maybe Baby, Showtime, Desert Lights, Reign Supreme, Moondust, Nail Superhero Treatment, Palm Springs, What the Shell, Midnight in Paris, Roll Up Roll Up, Cosmic, Caberet, Big Top plus a glittery nail file. They are paraben-free, vegan friendly and gluten-free.

I actually already got my calendar and I am super excited for all these great shades. I said it many times, I love the Mini Mani Month, because it always gives you a wide range of Ciaté polishes. This year they did a magnificent job on adding so many polishes I don’t own yet, and trust me, I own A LOT of their shades!

Next up is a newbe in their holiday collection. It is similar to the Mini Mani Month, just with make-up.

12 days of Ciaté London (£49.00)

This set refers to the traditional christmas carol “the twelve days of christmas”, which was sung by many – Bing Crosby and The Andrews Sisters recorded the traditional version of it in 1949. Others like Frank Sinatra, the Chipmunks and also the Muppets followed :)

We have 12 products, 3x liquid velvet (minis), 1x wonderwand liner (mini), 1x fierce flicks liner (full size), 1x make-up melter (mini), 1x bamboo bronzer (mini), 1x glow-to highlighter (mini), 3x eyeshadows (full size) and 1x wonderwand mascara (mini).

I already own a couple of their liquid velvets and the cheekbone cheat in the shade bluff point (which has the same formula as the bamboo bronzer as far as I know). I love them all.

Another highlight are the snow globes. They already had the nail snow globe last year and added the liquid velvet version this year. I personally think that the idea was born out of the actual snow globe from 2015, which I also bought.

Charlotte used to bring her daughter snow globes from trips she went to business on, which I find very cute.

Snow globe nail (£25.00)

The packaging for this years nail snow globe is again very unique and pretty.

It comes with 6 mini polishes which have very cute star caps on them. the shades are Goal Digger, Main Attraction, Big City, Bright Lights, Antique Brooch and Cookies & Cream, PLUS a glitter nail file.

The packaging for the liquid velvet minis is very similar and comes with 5 shades.

Snow globe liquid velvet (£29.00)

The shades for this year are Bittersweet, Gossip, Swoon, Wonderland, Pin Up. I bought the liquid velvet Kiss Collective in 2015 and therefor already own Swoon and Pin Up, two very pretty lip colors.

This years Kiss collective duo (£12.00) comes with two shades.

Pin Up is an all-time bestseller and this year is paired with Fling, also very pretty.

Last but not least we have something that was highly requested by many, the Chloe Morello Beauty Haul Vol. II (£45.00).

This make-up palette comes with 20 eyeshadows, both matte and shimmers, specifically formulated for ultimate blendability and ultra-high colour payoff.

As if that wouldn’t be enough, the Beauty Haul also includes a mini liquid velvet liquid lipstick in Chloe’s must have, limited edition shade Sydney, a full size Fierce Flicks liquid liner, as well as the best-selling travel sized Wonderwand Mascara.

I think this years selecton is amazing! For me the Mini Mani Month is always a must have and I am so happy I was finally able to get it BEFORE december. I will post about all the seperate doors each day of december, so stay tuned and open all the doors/boxes with me. I can’t wait!
