Hey everyone,

did you see me crazy colorful dotticure from Mara’s Birthday Nail Art Month – DAY 2?
Today I have a more discreet one for you, using only pastel colors.

Here is what I used:

• Ciaté – PP151 Loop the Loop
• Ciaté – PP104 pepperminty
• Maybelline – Colorshow – LE Bleached Neons – 241 sun flare, 242 coral heat, 243 tropink, 244 chic chartreuse
• ORLY – harmonious mess
• O.P.I. – my boyfriend scales walls

For this manicure all you need are the different colors and a dotting tool. Just like the other mani I already showed you, start dotting the colors onto the nail. You can mix up bigger and smaller dots if you want. I only used the end creating bigger dots. Start with one color dotting away on each nail. After that use the next color and continue until there are no blank spots left.

This is without a top coat

This is with O.P.I.’s matte top coat

I like the pastel version of this manicure better than the colorful one.

Mara’s Birthday nail art month – DAY 11

DAY 11

Hello lovelies,

we are already at day 11 of my Birthday Nail Art Month, where I show you a new nail design everyday.

Today I choose three discreet colors, pastel colors. Two of them are from Maybelline’s LE Bleached Neons.

Here is what I used:

• Maybelline Colorshow – Bleached Neons – 241 sun flare
• ORLY – Harmonious Mess
• Maybelline Colorshow – Bleached Neons – 244 chic chartreuse

What I did is easy. First apply two coats of the base color, harmonious mess, and let it dry completely.
For the next step you can either use french tip stickers to get a clean result or, if you are used to it like I am, free hand paint the orange tip (across, not horizontal) using Maybelline’s Bleached Neon 241 sun flare.

You could stop with the above step or use Maybelline’s 244 chic chartreuse and a dotting tool to dot on the line of the tip.
I only applied one coat of dots, but think two coats would have been better.

 

Apply a clear top coat and you are good to go.

[Review] Maybelline – LE – bleached neons

Hey everyone,

last week I bought the current bleached neon’s LE by Maybelline which everybody is posting about.
Today I want to show you my pictures and manicures on these beautiful pastel neon polishes :)

 

Maybelline New York – color show – bleached neons – 241 sun flare

 

This is a pretty orange pastel neon polish. The consistency was rather creamy so that is something I usually don’t like. Surprisingly all of these polishes are opaque with 2 coats.

As you can see this is a coral neon polish. I think it is one of my favorites from this LE, even though the orange and green one are lovely too :)

BAM! Barbie, that is all I am gonna say haha
Not a fan of it, but I think it would be nice in combination with the others for a nice nail art.

Don’t mind the color of the following pictures too much.
The polish is more green just as on the bottle picture.

 

How do you like these polishes?

I realize that these polish were quite difficult to photograph. But I still hope you can an idea of how pretty these are.
