Mara’s Birthday nail art month – DAY 5

Hello everyone,

jamming to the Breaking Bad soundtracks I am writing this post. God I can not tell you enough how much I love this show.but today’s nail art is not about that…..later.

For today I have a more mediterranean nail design for you.

Here is what I used

p2 – LE sea’ la vie – 030 navy
Essence Nail Art Effect Topper – 03 hello holo
O.P.I. – Alpine Snow
Wet n Wild – megalast – E2143 I red a book
Ciaté – PP050 ladylike luxe

p2’s navy was applied on the pinky finger, Essence’s Hello holo on the ring finger, O.P.I.’s Alpine Snow on the middle finger and Wet n Wild’s I red a book was applied on the pointy finger as well as the thumb. On each nail applied two coats. Only hello holo got three coats to get a stronger holo finish.on Alpine Snow I also used p2’s navy, painted 4 horizontal lines and let it dry properly. On the thumb I used Ciaté’s PP050 ladylike luxe and painted an anchor with my self-cut paint brush. The gold polish was still wet when I placed the gold nail beads. After that I used white polish to paint on the heart on the middle finger, let it dry and painted over it with th red Wet n wild polish. To set everything in place I applied a clear top coat.

Good evening bae’s,

welcome to the second day of my Birthday nail art month.

Today I wanted to show you a very colorful and fun nail design compared to yesterday’s simple glitter nail design.
This look was a lot of fun. It took a while but it was totally worth it.

Polishes I used

I used several different colors, trying to pick colors that are bright and without shimmer or glitter in them.

Astor – Fashion Studio – 202
Ciaté – PP060 – ditch the heels
Ciaté – PP065 – big yellow taxi
p2 – sea’ la vie – 030 navy
p2 – color victim – 999 aloha dreams
p2 – last forever – 230 hot tango
ORLY – BAKED – 20497 tropical pop

It is very easy to accomplish this look. All you need are the different colors and a dotting tool. I used the bigger end of the tool to get bigger dots. I also used the back of a stamping plat to drip on the polishes so I can dip in the dotting tool. Start using one color and keep dotting away. Place the dots on different parts of the nail but of course leave free space for the other colors. If you are done with one nail, do the next etc. until all nail are down using the first color. Now continue these steps with each color you picked. Fill out the blanks with the rest of the colors. When you are down your nails should look like this.

I know it is a crazy design and maybe not everyone’s favorite or wearable to any occasion, but I think it is really fun and different.
I really liked creating this design and it was very easy.

[Review] p2 – LE Sea’ la vie – 030 navy

Hello everyone,

today I wanted to show you another polish I recently bought. You already saw it in HAULy friday – ten.

Like I said before, I am not a big fan of this LE. This polish is the only product I bought from this.
As you can see this is a pretty dark blue polish and since I don’t have a color this so far I bought it.

The only thing I liked about this LE was the design of the polish bottles. They are big and round but pretty flat.

030 navy

In the following pictures you can see the color a bit more realistic. It is dark but not too dark and I think it looks pretty nice on the nails. I can imagine using it for several nail arts. I bet it looks good with gold, white or red.

The brush is very long and thin here, which I mentioned before I am not a big fan of. You really gotta concentrate when applying the polish to get a clean result.
