Sunday Mani – twelve – studded nails/dotticure

Hey everyone,

still a bit tired from yesterday I want to continue with a very cute and, if I might say, impressive Sunday Mani :)

As a base color I picked 010 vintage Lily from p2 current dress code HAPPY LE.

Instead of dotting points with a dotting tool, I decided to use different colored nail pearls on each nail.

As you can see I used the neon yellow pearls also from p2 LE dress code HAPPY, models own neon green pearls and the colorful mix from Essence where I picked out the pink, dark blue and turquoise pearls.

I don’t mean to brag or flatter myself, but I am in love with this nail art!

I did not put a top coat on, because some of the pearls, for example Essence pearls, will loose the color if you put top coat on them.

[Review] Ciaté’s Mini Mani Month 2013 (US) – pearls – cupids arrow and midnight in manhattan

Hello everyone,

introducing pearl bottle number three and four.

cupids arrow (lilac mix)

As you can see, these are mixed pearls. A mix of different lilac and rose/pink shades, even some grey/silvery and beige/orange ones. This is really a mix of many different shades, but I think the blend it perfectly and give a nice result. I am in love with these.

cupids arrow in combination with Ciaté’s PP 080 – sugar plum

The application here is the same as for the pearls in general.

Apply your base color in as many coats as you want.
I applied the base color with three coats and let it properly dry.
After that add the top coat, but make sure to add it only where you want the caviar pearls to stick and add the pearls right away while the clear coat is still wet. I advice you to do one nail at a time.
Add the pearls in different ways to have some variety.

I also added a glitter topper. The one you see is PPM402 – glitterball from the tree trinkets which I will fully review later on.

Midnight in Manhattan (silver/black mix)

As you can see, these are also mixed pearls. As far as I can see they have mixed silver with black, blue, turquoise and khaki green pearls. I don’t know why they mixed the blue and green ones in, I would have preferred simple silver and black. But I guess this is more unique, so it’s nice. It is definitely difficult to match though.

Midnight in Manhattan in combination with Ciaté’s PP 103 – pillow fight

please excuse the poor lightning, but I think the color of the polish and pearls affected the outcome

Hello everyone,

introducing pearl bottle number one and two.

smoulder (silver)

As you can see, these are simple silver pearls. No mix, not other color, simply silver.

smoulder in combination with Ciaté’s PP 103 – pillow fight

I applied the base color with three coats, let it properly dry and applied a clear top coat.
Make sure to add the top coat only where you want the caviar pearls to stick and add the pearls right away while the clear coat is still wet. I advice you to do one nail at a time.
As you can see I added the clear coat and pearls in different ways. You can add it in a drop, over the whole nail, in the shape of three drops, just the tip or a line.
Be creative and apply it how you want. Some people like it simpler, some like to go all the way and add the pearls on every nail in total.

lustre (gold)

As you can see, these are simple golden pearls. I think perfect for christmas nail designs.

Lustre in combination with Ciaté’s PP 017 – boudoir

The application here is the same as for the pearls in general.
