Mara’s Birthday nail art month – DAY 6

Good evening lovelies,

we are already at day 6 of my Birthday nail art month and today I have a nail design I saw more or less everywhere over the internet.
It is basically a cute little Super Mario Brothers nail design. There are different ones, using different characters.

Here are few of them

Since I am not THAT good with nail arts, I decided to go for a simple french toad design

Here is what I used

• O.P.I. – Alpine Snow
• O.P.I. – bubble bath
• Wet n Wild – megalast – E2143 I red a book
• Ciaté – PP065 big yellow taxi
• a black polish for the eyes

 

I think I don’t have to explain too much^^

On the pinky, the middle and pointy finger I did a white tip at first, using O.P.I.’s – Alpine Snow. After that was dry I used Wet n Wild’s – I red a book and a thin nail brush to create the thin red line under the white tip. on the ring finger I started with the red head of toad and used a nail correcting pen to get a clean edge. I let it dry and used Alpine Snow to paint the dots on his head and painted a base for his face. After that was dry I painted over the white with Bubble Bath, let it dry and painted his eyes on^^

Last but not least I also applied two coats of Alpine Snow on my thumb, let it dry and created the star.

That is all. I felt it was a pretty easy nail design. You can also use different colors for example green for the 1up mushroom or also blue.
You could also do a different one on each nail^^
